Well, limited big men just got more limited. Kwame Brown was diagnosed with a torn pectoralis major, the chest muscle that attaches to the right shoulder. He had hurt it in the fourth quarter during the outstanding win against the Miami Heat. His surgery should be soon and he’ll be out for three months. With a shorten season, this could hurt the Warriors a big time. Andris Beidrins was already out, but his return now maybe rushed with the lack of big men.
Brown was the best interior defense and provided the Warriors with a defensive presence that was needed. His patrolling around the rim will be missed greatly.
