2. Kenneth Faried Will Not Notch a Double-Double

Call me crazy, but I just don’t see Kenneth Faried waltzing into Oracle Arena and putting up the monster performance that we’re so used to seeing him put up.

Faried was very limited in Game 2 against the Warriors (he didn’t play in Game 1) and I believe that he is playing right now at way less than 100 percent. The “Manimal” played 21 minutes and only scored four points and collected two rebounds, while committing five fouls in Denver’s Game 2 loss. Looks like his ankle injury has taken more of a toll on him than we all thought.

The Warriors small lineup worked out nicely in Game 2 and I’m sure that Warriors head coach Mark Jackson resorts to a similar strategy in Game 3. If it will keep Faried and the Nuggetts off the glass, then hey, I would be all for it as well.
