Stephen Curry – A-

I mean, how could he earn any less?

Curry was questionable prior Friday night’s game after spraining his left ankle in Wednesday night in Denver, but his return to an electric Oracle Arena didn’t’ disappoint.

Along with Jarrett Jack, Curry made up for a no-show from Klay Thompson by going 4-for-7 from beyond the arc en route to a 29 point, 11 assist and 6 rebound effort. He was also more aggressive than he had been in Game 2, attacking the lane and drawing fouls, which in turn led to a perfect 9-for-9 from the stripe.

The only knock on Curry’s game Friday was his inability to contain Ty Lawson, who went off for 35 points and 10 assists himself. Foul trouble contributed to some of Curry’s defensive struggles – especially late in the game – but as many commentators pointed out, the first team to play defense in this series will almost certainly advance.
