Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili

May 6, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker (9) and Manu Ginobili (20) wait for play to resume against the Golden State Warriors during the first half in game one of the second round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs at the AT

Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have won three NBA championships together. This season, they are eyeing, and within five wins, of a fourth NBA championship. Unlike the other backcourt duos in this list, Parker and Ginobili do not start together, but their presence in the backcourt, regardless of who their partner is, provides veteran experience and a collected calmness that resonates among the entire Spurs team.

Parker and Ginobili hit multiple daggers to put away the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals. They played few minutes combined than nearly all of the league’s best backcourts. However, they were tired or wanted fresh legs for the playoffs, they put up great numbers in an efficiency worthy of the Spurs’ organization.

Still, with a combined 23 years of NBA mileage and the limitations that come with that, prevent the Parker-Ginobili duo from taking the top spot of this season’s backcourt duos.
