Jarrett Jack appeared to be a one-year rental as Stephen Curry’s backup and Golden State Warriors’ sixth man when he was signed last offseason. Jack then played his guts off and emerged as a proficient sixth man, finishing third in Sixth Man of the Year voting.

Jack loved playing in the Bay Area, telling reporters after the Warriors Game 6 defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs, “I hope so, man, obviously there are other things that go into seeing if that works — we all know this is a business at the end of the day. If I could do it, if I could rearrange it, I would definitely be back at this same locker.”

But it is highly likely that Jack gets swooped away and will move onto another team willing to pay him far more lucratively than the Warriors can. So, the Warriors will need a replacement.
