Harris is 30 years old and coming off his worst year in the NBA since 2005-06, but he is still a very capable point guard. In 24 minutes per game last season with Atlanta, Harris averaged 10 points and three assists per game, shooting 44 percent from the field.
Harris also started 34 games last season and would feel comfortable moving into the starting lineup if Curry or Klay Thompson fell to an injury, as he made most of his starts once Lou Williams went down with an ACL injury.
