Only a mere two years ago, there were rumblings that Rajon Rondo was the second-best point guard in the league behind only Chris Paul. But due to his lack of development and outside shooting, Rondo in still stuck here at six.

Rondo has had a good amount of playoff success. After being deemed the reason that the 2007 Celtics weren’t going to win the title, Rondo took over the C’s and made them his team. He averages nearly a triple-double for his career in the playoffs, which in itself is pretty remarkable.

Rondo is still elite but is a somewhat unknown because his is currently trying to come back from a torn ACL. He could jump back up near the top of this list, but as of now, we need to see if he is still the Rondo of old.
