Chris Copeland completed his rookie season in the NBA at the ripe age of 28, and he played himself into a contract probably worth more than what he received.

Copeland averaged just 8.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in just 15.4 minutes of playtime. For a two-year, $6.1 million deal, he is an absolute steal for a team that needed his skillset.

Copeland is the ultimate three-point cannon off the bench. In just 93 minutes of action during the playoffs, he attempted 23 three-point shots. The Pacers were the eight-worst scoring team in 2012-13 and had the second-worst scoring bench in the entire league, and while Copeland may not be a good defender, his offensive talent will make up for it.

Copeland is in fact a great signing because a team like Indiana can pick up his defensive slack while allowing him ample opportunity to shoot the Pacers back into a game or cement a lead.
