George Karl was not very pleased with Andre Iguodala allegedly being “the mole” during the Warriors’ playoff series victory over the Nuggets last season.
Nuggets fans were certainly even more upset when Iguodala signed with Golden State as a free agent, and they certainly won’t let him forget about it tonight. Iguodala will make his first visit back to Denver as the Warriors take on the Nuggets on Monday night at the Pepsi Center, and you can bet the boo-birds will be ready to make their voices heard.
Iguodala’s return overshadows a matchup between two teams fighting for positioning in the tight and competitive Western Conference. The Nuggets (14-12) currently hold the eighth seed, but are just mere percentage points ahead of the Warriors (15-13).
