There is no doubt that Klay Thompson and Kyle Korver are among the best three-point shooters in the league. Thompson finished second in made threes last season, while Korver led the league in shooting percentage from beyond-the-arc at 47.2 percent, and was recently the feature of an outstanding Grantland piece.
So it’s no surprise that the two squared off in an impromptu three-point shooting contest after a Team USA practice earlier this week:
It didn’t go as planned for Thompson, as Korver beat him at four out of seven spots.
“You can only miss one shot, maybe two (against Korver),” Thompson told LetsGoWarriors.com, “but I love shooting with Kyle — or Steph. There’s not many guys I think can shoot better than me. It just gets me better.”
In other Warriors’ video — this one a little more humorous — Harrison Barnes did a commercial for Homewood Golf Course in Ames, Iowa, his hometown.
Barnes, as you will quickly find out, is not the best golfer (h/t Hardwood Paroxysm):
Oakland’s baseball team made a big splash yesterday, trading fan-favorite Yoenis Cespedes to the Red Sox for ace Jon Lester and Johnny Gomes.
Klay Thompson was a big fan of it:
How bout them A’s
