The Warriors announced today that the recently acquired Shaun Livingston will miss 6-8 weeks recovering from surgery received last Wednesday. Training camp begins on September 29, which is a little over six weeks away.
Livingston received arthroscopic surgery on his right big toe, an injury that occurred during last year’s regular season. Livingston played through the injury during playoffs, but the toe never fully recovered.
Livingston was signed to a three-year, $16.6 million contract to the Golden State Warriors, and is expected to be a key contributor off the bench in both guard spots as well as in the small forward position.
