In Game One, the Houston Rockets watched a 16-point lead evaporate as the Golden State Warriors fought back to lead going into the half. Heading into halftime of Game Two, that script had flipped – the Warriors allowed the Rockets to go on a 23-6 run in the final 7:40 of the second quarter and entered the break on equal terms.

The game would then continue to be a game of runs, with the Warriors establishing a lead only to watch it disappear. The Rockets’ superstar and MVP runner-up James Harden led the charge, willing the Rockets to within one play away from winning the game. The Warriors’ execution down the stretch left much to be desired, and the Rockets were one fastbreak away from negating the Warriors’ home court advantage.

Instead, the Warriors prevailed and will now head to Houston hoping to steal at least one win from the Rockets’ home court. Let’s take a look at some takeaways from Game Two.
