Here are the best quotes following the Golden State Warriors’ record-setting home win.

It seems weird to say this, but this felt like a must-win game for the Golden State Warriors.

A day after sustaining their worst loss of the season, a blowout to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors had to defend their home court and their record against a young, hungry team. They sat at 56-6 at the beginning of March and this felt like a game they needed to come out and win. Not for record-chasing purposes, but to keep the boat from sinking.

Fortunately for the Warriors, bouncing back isn’t too difficult when you have the best player in the world. Again, Stephen Curry found himself dominating and making history as he became the first NBA player to hit 300 three-pointers in a single season.

When the greatest shooter to ever step onto an NBA court gets a wide open look from beyond the arc, you generally expect good things to happen. Andrew Bogut sure did on this play, when he started celebrating long before Curry even released the ball.

Draymond Green has had an up-and-down couple of weeks and was questionable to play in this one as he was under the weather with the flu. His mom. Mary Babers-Green, took to Twitter to give her thoughts on the situation.

But it takes a lot to keep the All-Star power forward out of the game and he suited up anyways. He was clearly slowed down by the illness as he only attempted three field goals, scored one point, and committed seven turnovers. In typical Draymond Green fashion though, he found other ways to contribute, pulling down nine rebounds and dishing out ten assists while finishing second (+19) only to Curry in +/-.

While the Warriors escaped with a win, it’s hard to call this game a team effort for 48 minutes. Golden State was sloppy and it came down to which team has Steph Curry and which team doesn’t.

The Warriors’ turnover woes continued.

This was another historic night for the Warriors as they passed the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for most consecutive home wins. This was their 45th straight victory at Oracle Arena. After the game, Green addressed the crowd.

He’s not lying. Congratulations #DubNation.
