They shot 41% from the field and an abysmal 15-of-34 from beyond the arc with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combining for 12 of the 15 Warrior makes. The Warriors’ shooting paved the way for the Kings to make runs and have short scoring bursts.

Stephen Curry had 35 points 11-of-20, including 8-of-14 from the great beyond. His Splash Brother Klay Thompson had 26 points on 10-of-25 from the field with four threes. Kevin Durant, the other scoring dynamo on this team struggled all night only scoring 10 points and missing all of his three point attempts.

Draymond Green had 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists and his usual tough defense. He also came back after a one game absence from a shoulder injury. Just before the half, Green drove to the basket on Kings center DeMarcus Cousins and landed near some cameramen on the baseline and had to be helped up and limped up to the locker room. He did return for the second half.

The Kings seemed like they controlled the game and set their pace and tone of the game by going to Cousins frequently, which put the Warriors off balance for most of the night.

Cousins had 32 points, 12 boards and nine assists, but having to work hard against the Warriors tough defense.

Darren Collison had 18 points on 8-of-13 and stayed in attack mode for much of the night. Willie Cauley-Stein had a big impact off the bench for the Kings scoring 14 points and grabbing four boards. Former Warrior Anthony Tolliver had 11 points off the bench for the Kings.

The Warriors looked tired for much of the night and didn’t get quite energized until head coach Steve Kerr got ejected for a profanity-tirade because of forward Kevon Looney getting two foul calls against him and Green getting a technical foul.

After that the Warriors seemed a bit more energized for the rest of the game, but did not have enough to finish the game.

Just breathe, DubNation. 43-8 isn’t so bad and when the Warriors lose a game they usually come back and string together a bunch of wins.
