The Golden State Warriors are looking to make a third deep playoff run. Here are three bold predictions as they head back to the playoffs.

The Golden State Warriors are looking to make their third straight deep postseason run. They’ve made it to the NBA Finals two years in a row, splitting them with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This year, they are out for revenge in an effort two win their second ring in three years.

It won’t be easy, of course. It never really is, especially in the tough Western Conference. But the Warriors are the top team in the league. By adding Kevin Durant, they put themselves in the best position to come out of the West.

The Dubs have their work cut out for them, but they can do it. Every time this core makes the playoffs, something special happens. Whether it’s upsetting a third seeded Denver Nuggets or overcoming a 1-3 deficit in the Western Conference Finals, this team always finds a way to pull off the spectacular.

A lot can happen in the playoffs. Last year’s NBA Finals showed that. No one expected the Warriors’ dream season to unravel in the way that it did.

While the Warriors didn’t win 73 games this season like they did last year, entering the postseason feels different. They’re playing better team basketball heading into the playoffs than the last two teams were. It feels like they’re ready to explode.

The Golden State Warriors are hungry. They’re out for blood this postseason. This means we’re probably going to see some pretty awesome things.
