While it hasn’t been decided which team the Warriors will face, they now know when they will play again. After it was decided that the Jazz and Clippers will meet on Sunday, the schedule was released for the second round. Rather than having the series spaced out like the first round, Golden State will be playing every other day in the second round.

That means that the next series has the potential be finished in just a little over a week’s time. The Warriors will officially begin the second round at home on Tuesday, May 2. They will play there again two nights later and then hit the road.

Of the first four games in the series, TNT will have at least two of the broadcasts, while ABC and ESPN will have the other two. So it’s split evenly among the two networks. Should this series go past four games, TNT will air the majority of the games.

The Jazz and Clippers having a grueling series is the best thing that can happen for Golden State. They’ll be ready to roll on Tuesday night, while the team that wins the seventh game will have a quick turnaround to the bay area.

Sure, the Warriors will have to worry about coming out a little bit rusty, but that’s something they should be able to clean up quick. This is a schedule that lines up to their advantage perfectly as they make a run at an NBA Championship.
