Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant have each knocked down iconic shots in the last few years. Which is better? Vote here!

The Golden State Warriors are having one of the most incredible three year runs in the history of professional sports. They’ve dominated. Most of the time, their victories aren’t even close.

Lopsided games have always been pretty common in the Bay Area except now it’s the Warriors that are coming away victorious. At this point, it isn’t about if Golden State will win, but by how much will they win? Still, you can’t win them all like that.

Every now and then, especially against top teams in playoff atmospheres, the Warriors will find themselves in a close one. It doesn’t matter how good you are, you’re going to play close games.

Two of the most high-profile games during this Warriors run has been a regular season game in Oklahoma City in 2016 and Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals in Cleveland. Both of those games saw Golden State win, largely, because of clutch shots.

Stephen Curry sunk a three-pointer from nearly 40 feet away from the basket to put the OKC Thunder away in overtime. It was a prime-time game that everyone was watching. It capped off an incredible game for him and became a defining highlight during the first ever unanimous MVP run.

Kevin Durant, the Warriors’ superstar free agent acquisition, drilled a huge three-pointer in LeBron James’ face in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Golden State looked like they were going to fall, but Durant led an 11-0 run to win the game and take a 3-0 lead in the series. It was a dagger three-pointer on the road that pretty much won the championship in that moment.

Both are iconic shots. Not just in the history of the player or the team, but in the entire NBA. They will last forever on the Internet and the overall story of the Association.

But which, for Warriors fans, was better? Now, obviously, only one was in the playoffs, but the other one became more than just a single play; it was one of those events where you will remember where you were when you saw it.

There is a poll for that on BlueManHoop’s Twitter account.

Both shots were absolutely amazing. It was two of the best players taking control and showing why they are elite. They refused to lose.

Don’t get me wrong, the Warriors have had a lot of spectacular plays and buckets outside of these two. It doesn’t seem unfair to single these two out as the two top ones. If there’s another one that I should have included (perhaps Curry’s shot against New Orleans in 2015), comment or tweet us.

Make sure you vote for your favorite shot. The poll ends Thursday in the afternoon. And, if you were wondering how our previous poll went, click here.
