In a great turnaround from last season, Stephen Curry helped lead the Golden State Warriors to a 47-35 regular season record, a playoff berth and the Western Conference Semifinals. Golden State has received plenty of help from many players – rookies and veterans alike – but the play of Curry deserves to be singled out.

Curry dazzled crowds with three-pointers, no-look passes and incredible third quarter performances, but he was still ignored by many people filling out All-Star ballots. It’s obvious to me that Curry is a future All-Star, but I won’t pretend his game is perfect.

Heading into the 2012-2013 season, nobody thought the Golden State Warriors were a playoff team. Most people thought the Warriors were destined for another year at the bottom of the standings. Then the season started and Stephen Curry, David Lee and others showed the world how fun it is to watch Warriors basketball.

The Warriors are now a team that’s on the rise and many people are going to climb on the rapidly filling bandwagon. Even though the Warriors are supposed to be good next season, it isn’t unfathomable to think they can surprise people once again. Here are seven bold predictions about the upcoming season.
