In Week 4 of the Town’s Finest, I discuss Warriors center JaVale McGee’s relatively new YouTube series, “Parking Lot Chronicles.”

It all goes down in 5 minutes or less after Golden State Warriors‘ home games.

JaVale McGee posted up in the middle of Oracle’s parking lot, holding court with random Dubs fans and  his teammates. You see them joking, laughing and talking about random things before they peel off into the balmy Northern California night.

This is the “Parking Lot Chronicles,” and it’s all kinds of awesome.

I’ve been binge watching these episodes on Kevin Durant’s YouTube channel, and I’m loving how authentic and organic these shows are.  This show is the perfect platform for the engaging personalities of McGee and the rest of the squad. It gives the fans a glimpse into these personalities and how their off court chemistry translates into on court success.

With the exception of Monday’s games against the Lakers, the Warriors will remain in the Bay Area until Jan. 3 when they’ll head to Dallas to face the Mavericks. Since there are seven games in the homestand, I’ve been thinking about future “Parking Lot Chronicles” guests that could appear during this time, and here are a few suggestions.

STEPHEN AND AYESHA CURRY

Obviously, this episode is a must. From what we know about this couple is that they are fun loving and engaging. Seeing Steph dancing and joking on the sidelines during  games and sometimes after is nothing new to most Warriors. A “Parking Lot Chronicles” episode on Steph would be, in a way, an extension of what we see during games.

Since this show is in the parking lot, don’t be surprised to see Ayesha also. If you are familiar with some of her postings on Instagram (mostly on her GinaJamaica page), you know she’s down to laugh and have a good time. In this episode, expect JaVale to ask the couple some playful questions, and expect the couple to clown. Not to mention, Javale will remind Steph that there is some unfinished fanny pack business between them.

STEVE KERR

Coach Kerr is the wittiest coach in the NBA, and it isn’t close. He played with a slinky and shuffled a deck of cards while announcing changes in his line up. He sarcastically answered questions that seemed to either amuse or irritate him. Kerr’s personality would make for a good episode because it’s a possibility that the fans get to see Kerr at his most candid.

Since Kerr is a former player, don’t be surprised that JaVale ask the coach about different moments during his playing career. Parlaying this episode into some playing time could be possible.

ANDRE IGUODALA

Granted, Iguodala appeared in the first episode. However, there is more to this guy than just that brief appearance. Iguodala’s  personality is enigmatic at times. His cryptic tweets is a clear example.

But there is more to Iguodala than that. While “Parking Lot Chronicles”is mostly about fun and humor, Iguodala and Javale can take this time to talk about investments and venture capitalism.

Both Iguodala and Curry hosted a Players Technology summit in the offseason, and sharing what he learned from the summit and his investments makes for an interesting and inspiring show for not only the fans but players from other teams who would like to get into investments.

MARCUS THOMPSON II, TIM KAWAKAMI, AND ANTHONY SLATER

When it comes to covering the Warriors, no one — and I mean NO ONE — compares to these three men. Their thorough coverage of the Warriors and Bay Area sports as a whole makes subscribing to The Athletic one of the best investments that a sports fan could ever do.

The rapport that these men share with the players is impeccable and amazing. For their coverage and the fact that they know the pulse of the team, Thompson, Kawakami and Slater should have an episode.

Thompson can take this opportunity to push Steph’s “Miraculous Rise,” as well as a forthcoming biography on KD. JaVale can talk about Kawakami’s propensity to block his share of shots on Twitter. Slater will have a chance to relax, talk some trash and give us a glimpse into his personality away from the coverage.

The Athletic‘s Big 3 can critique Javale’s skills in front of the camera. The possibilities for this episode are endless.
