Tearing up the D-Fenders

Before the Gatorade rebrand, the NBA’s minor league was known as the D-League, and the South Bay Lakers were known as the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Yet despite their etymology, the D-Fenders had absolutely no answers against the onslaught of Jabari Brown, who tallied a game-high 32 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block in 31 minutes.

Brown was also incredibly efficient, shooting 7-of-15 from the field (46.7 percent), 5-of-9 from behind the arc (55.6 percent) and a season-high 13-of-14 from the free throw line (92.9 percent).

Pressey also contributed 32 points as the starting point guard, helping lead the Warriors to a 134-124 victory at the Toyota Sports Center.
