Doug McDermott

A former Creighton superstar, McDermott, also known as “Dougie McBuckets,” averaged a career-high 10.3 points per game last season with the Pacers. The 6-foot-7 forward would be a perfect stretch four for the Warriors.

McDermott averaged 1.9 threes per game last season. The biggest plus about McDermott is that he averaged over 43 percent from deep last season. It was his third straight season hitting the 40 percent mark and fourth time throughout his six-year career.

He doesn’t have much upside. Lou Williams does and so does Derrick Rose.

McDermott would be able to tag-team with Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins in the frontcourt to spread the court for Oubre Jr. and Curry. Those players would create a dynamic unit that could thrive offensively, but as a rebounding team, there could be a different storyline.

He can be a staple of consistency through. He’s averaged over seven points per game for the past five seasons. He can help contribute, but his ceiling as an impactful player on the roster isn’t what other targets might be.
