4. player. 84. F. G-League Ignite. Jonathan Kuminga. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Sacramento Kings

It seems likely the Sacramento Kings will jump on the opportunity to draft Jonathan Kuminga if he’s available to them at four. They already have a promising young backcourt and need a versatile forward to help round out the roster.

DeAaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton have looked like the future of Kings’ basketball lately. The rookie, Haliburton, is averaging 13.2 points and 5.4 assists as a hyper-efficient creator and distributor. Meanwhile, Fox is a blazing quick guard with explosive scoring ability.

All the Kings are missing is additional talent. They missed brutally in the 2018 NBA Draft, picking Marvin Bagley over both Luka Doncic and Trae Young. As a result, Bagley’s failures and inability to stay healthy has held them back.

But, Kuminga can be their knight in shining armor. A great wing presence with dynamic handling and creation, Kuminga is exactly what modern-day NBA teams are looking for from the forward position.
