Pick Analysis. 125. Scouting Report. UConn. James Bouknight. 10. player. G

Atlanta Hawks

It’s hard to explain why the Atlanta Hawks are such a bad team despite having so many powerful offensive players. Oh wait, it’s actually not that difficult, because while they were loading up on shooters and scorers – the Hawks forgot there is an entire other side of basketball.

The Hawks have been horrifically bad defensively and it doesn’t help that Trae Young is one of the worst individual defenders in the league. This could one day be solved by Cam Reddish, Deandre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu but another defensive guard like James Bouknight could help even more.

Bouknight is a lanky guard that can be paired next to Young to hopefully patch up some of the Hawks’ holes on defense. He’s also a fairly good shooter, making him a perfect match in Atlanta.

Arkansas. Moses Moody. 100. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. G. 11. player

Indiana Pacers

It’s been a shakey rebuild for the Indiana Pacers. They never really hit rock bottom after losing Paul George due to the All-Star emergence of Victor Oladipo and Domanats Sabonis – but now that Oladipo is gone, the Pacers are finally headed towards a full reconstruction project.

They won’t be starting from scratch, however, They still have Sabonis who is only 24 years old and more exciting players such as Caris LeVert and Myles Turner. This makes it easier for them to draft in the back of the lottery and make the most of it.

Moses Moody is a decent fit here. The 6’6″ guard is scoring close to 20 points per game for Arkansas and can be a prolific bucket-getter for Indiana. This seems like the logical choice for them following the loss of Oladipo.
