Speaking of the future

When you look at a game like Sunday in Utah you really can see the Warriors don’t need another superstar.

They need Klay, consistency, and experience together. 28 points from Wiggins on 12-of-16 shooting, 32 points from the birthday boy, Steph, a triple-double from Dray, 18 from Poole with 3 of 5 from distance and 16 from James Wiseman on 8-for-11 shooting.

If this team somehow gets itself to the playoffs, can you imagine the confidence they’ll have starting the next season with a healthy Klay?

More importantly, the Warriors are probably the only team in league whose culture allows a superstar to be welcomed, but as we saw with Kevin Durant, every superstar can’t remain anonymous and win chips.

So finding outstanding talent and developing it what seems most likely sustainable.
