Warriors potential free agency addition: Damian Jones

The last player on the list is Damian Jones. Jones was traded from the Warriors to the Atlanta Hawks in 2019.

He was dealt with a second-round pick to Atlanta for Omari Spellman, a forward no longer with the team. Since being a first-round pick for Golden State and eventually being dealt three years later, Jones has bounced around.

Jones spent time with the Hawks and Suns, and he’s now with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers needed Jones since their superstar power forward Anthony Davis has missed the last several weeks.

While Jones hasn’t been getting much playing time with the Lakers, he’s averaging just 3.0 points per game. More impressively, Jones is shooting a career-high 72.7 percent from the field. Even though he’s 6-foot-11, his field goal percentage is still outstanding.

All four of these players have contributed to the Warriors at some point, and the team should want to bring them back this offseason.
