Overrated free agent the Warriors should pass on: Evan Fournier

The Golden State Warriors could use Evan Fournier, and they could pull it off. The amount that it would cost them wouldn’t make it worth their while, but the Warriors should stay away from the thought of it.

Fournier averaged 17.1 points per game, but he was over 19 points per game with the Magic. When he went to that down to just over 13 points per game. Fournier will be a big name on the market, but he wasn’t great when called upon to help a contending team.

The Warriors could use a talent like Fournier; every team could. At the end of the day, they’ll need someone to hit shots, and while Fournier was tasked to be more of a playmaker, there will be better pure shooters on the market.

Fournier will get a big-time deal as well which will hurt the Warriors’ chances. Combine both those, and it’s unlikely the Warriors will ever be in the running for the 28-year-old guard.
