Opening night versus LeBron James

There’s nothing like opening night.

We’ve been waiting all summer to see the Golden State Warriors hoop again. They’ll get the chance to do so against the Los Angeles Lakers — only after receiving their championship rings shortly before the game.

What is there to watch in this matchup?

A few things. Firstly, we get to see Klay Thompson compete, this time with roughly 10 months of being fully healthy. With any luck, the summer will have helped Klay establish a normal rhythm once again.

Then, there is the debut of James Wiseman, the former No. 2 overall pick who hasn’t played since early 2021.

Other names like Donte DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green will likely make their Warriors’ debuts.

And of course, another chapter in the LeBron James versus Golden State story. A classic that is always worth tuning in to see.
