Well, what can you say? A team that has made few moves yet this offseason is poised to win another championship and achieve the coveted “three-peat”. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh’s are declining, but LeBron James seems to be only getting better and better. He put the Heat on his back when it counted the most and provided one of the most consistently excellent playoff performances in recent history.

James continues to amaze people with not only his potent ability to carry a team, but also the ability to ensure all his teammates get opportunities. In fact, there were likely times in this offseason that he was too giving and probably should have seized on opportunities himself. As of this writing, the Heat summer league team are tied for first place with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and when people think of the Heat, they think of the Big 3, you cannot discount the strong cast of role players and developing players.

Though the Heat have been somewhat quieter this offseason, no one can deny their strong position as a contender.
