Ranking the Top 5 Starting Lineups in the NBA

With all the trades and such going down this offseason, many starting lineups have been altered. More still were cemented by playoff performances, (nod to Danny Green’s short-lived Finals MVP campaign). So that leaves the question, based on where they stand and how the lineups will likely play out, who’s rolling out the best starting five in the league come October?

Note: All lineups are as of July 19 and rankings are based on potential and assumptions, along with more weight given to individual players’ talent rather than squad play (because in some cases we don’t know how the squad plays together).  Let’s get started.
