Having a great point guard will usually lead to success in the NBA. This list was compiled looking towards next season, and therefore players who sustained major injuries do qualify. So, although a player like Rajon Rondo couldn’t help his Celtics out in the playoffs, he is already a proven commodity in the league, and therefore can find a spot on this list.

Tony Parker should be # 1 on this list. Watch him dominate CP3 9 times out of 10 they play against each other. Russell Westbrook should be in the # 2 spot, even he is better than Paul. Why do so many people d#”k ride CP3 like they do LBJ? It´s rediculous.

It’s simple, CP3 is a bully on the court. He demands attention on both ends (something Parker cannot do) and is always one of the assists leaders, every single season. Parker is an elite player, but he only does a few things very well: score in the paint, pick pockets, hit mid range. Paul does all those things and more, including a deadly 3-pointer.

Paul may do all those things, just not better than Tony Parker. It´s simple, Paul is younger, has a younger, more talented team around him than TP, but who got their team to the finals? Paul was at home with his kids while TP was being gaurded by the best basketball player on the planet. Parker also was an assists leader this past season and had better all around numbers than any other point gaurd in the league, that´s a fact. Hands down the best point gaurd in the NBA right now is Tony Parker.
