Games are won and lost not only because of talented players, but also because of how well those players gel with each other. If everyone in a lineup is on the same page, the offense and defense has flow, resulting in an elevated chance of overall success.

In this early season, every roster spot has contributed towards the Golden State Warriors’ overall success. However, only five players can be on the court at one time.

So, which individual lineup combinations have been most successful? To answer this question, there are a few definitions that we need to know:

OffRtg: Approximate number of points a lineup would score per 100 possessions.
DefRtg: Approximate number of points a lineup would give up per 100 possessions.
NetRtg: OffRtg – DefRtg. Basically, how many points a lineup would win, or lose, by per 100 possessions.

Since each team has thousands of possible lineup combinations, I will only look at lineups that have played together a minimum of 15 minutes. This condition gives us four distinct lineups to look at in this early season. The order of the discussed lineups is sorted from the highest to the lowest NetRtg:
