EA Sports recently released their annual NBA video game, NBA Live ‘16. The game is one of the best on the EA Sports lineup but other than the actual game, most people are fixated with their favorite players’ rankings.

The top two rated players were no surprise with LeBron James at number one and Kevin Durant at number two but after that, the rankings become a little suspect. Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin, James Harden and Chris Paul were all tied for third, all ahead of the reigning MVP, Stephen Curry. This is outrageous to think that seven players are better than Curry when many pundits think he may be the best player in the NBA, and his postseason run proved it.

Curry beat four of the top ranked players in the game on his way to leading the Golden State Warriors to an NBA title and would have beaten five of them if it was not for the massive collapse by Paul, Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers. He took care of Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans in four games. He battled through Gasol and a tough Memphis team in six. He shut up Harden the Houston Rockets in five and finally beat King James and the Cavaliers in six. In every single series, he was the best player on the floor with his lethal shooting, magnificent ball handling and incredible court vision.
