Green is no stranger to picking up technical fouls and suspensions for his style of play. Against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, Green had another classic moment of being in hot water. After not liking a foul call that he received against DeMarcus Cousins, Green went off.
The officiating crew gave him a technical and eventually, he shouted enough to get ejected. Green appeared to have had an argument but the refs had enough of it. His ejection might have been the turning point of the game.
Heading into halftime, the Warriors were once again lethargic on the floor and appeared to be a team that was just going through the motions. Like there last game against the Kings, Golden State struggled to find their offense. That quickly changed in the third quarter.
The Warriors came out on fire on both ends of the floor. Klay Thompson had a huge quarter as part of a 35-point performance and Golden State scored 42 points alone in the third. They also took away any offense the Kings had going and held them to just 15 points.

A three-point deficit suddenly turned to a 24-point lead in just one quarter. A variety of things helped lead to the turnaround but perhaps it was Green getting tossed that gave Golden State a little life. Seeing a teammate show unbridled passion makes others want to step up.
The team is a brotherhood and they want to step up for their guys. Losing their best defensive player made them come out with a renewed focus and passion in the second half. That was the key to their win and perhaps Green getting ejected was exactly what the Warriors needed to get a win over their Pacific Division foes.
