Carl Landry – B
Carl Landry scored an impressive 19 points off the bench last night, giving the Warriors some much-needed presence in the paint with several put-back dunks and lay-ins.
The biggest issue with Landry has to do with his struggles on defense. The undersized power forward collected an unnecessary number of personal fouls (4), which would be a huge problem if the Warriors were playing a team that could hit free throws, which Denver actually did fairly well last night (77% FT).
Furthermore, his ability to play defense tends to be overstated – he isn’t particularly quick or long, and the fact that Golden State was minus-4 points while he was on the floor last night reflects that.
