Why Harrison Barnes Stands Out

Looking at the stats among small forwards Harrison Barnes is at the bottom for nearly all of them with the exception of a few. So why does he stand out?

This is Barnes’ rookie season. Only two of the other people on this list brought their team to the playoffs in their rookie season–Carmelo Anthony and Paul George.

Barnes is also the only member of this group who has not been named an All-Star, and until May 30, he also the only member who is under 21.

If the peers on this list serve as any indication, Harrison Barnes will have a long, prosperous and incredibly successful future.
