I’m counting this as a playoff moment because it happened as Curry was taking the country by storm.
Curry became the first Warrior to be featured on a Sports Illustrated cover since Latree Sprewell in 1997. The Warriors have been perpetually laughed at around the league. Despite having great talent and an amazing fan base, the Warriors only made the playoffs twice in the past 19 years.
Not anymore. Stephen Curry, now a household name, promises an incredibly bright future for this team.
