Calderon would flourish in the Bay Area. The Spaniard will be 32 years old by next season but is still one of the best passing guards in the NBA.
He has averaged more than six assists in five of his past six seasons and more than eight assists in three of those years. Calderon is also an elite free throw shooter, not to mention a very good three-point shooter, shooting 52 percent in 28 games with Detroit this season.
Calderon would make it even easier to get Curry and Thompson easy shots when the three of the would play together, and would be the perfect replacement if the price is right.
