Farmar is currently playing Turkey but according to Bustasports.com, he has an opt-out clause in his current contract with the Turkish club Anadolu Efes. He is only 26 years old, and was far from a washed out guard two seasons ago with the Nets.
Farmar would provide a cheap playmaker and would likely sign for the league minimum, which could it make it worth possibly taking a chance on him.
