Although since the Dallas Mavericks title run, the team surrounding Dirk Nowitzki hasn’t been nearly the same, putting much of the load back onto him, he is still one of the best shooters of all-time, and still in the top 10 going into 2013-14.

Nowitzki has a lethal step-back jumper, and his fadeaway shot is virtually unblockable. Though many considered him too soft to build a franchise around, owner Mark Cuban stuck to his guns and created the perfect team around Nowitzki in 2011, pairing him next to an elite shot blocker in Tyson Chandler, and one of the best distributors of all time in Jason Kidd.

If Dirk can muster another 70-plus game season with elite shooting numbers, he may etch his name in stone as one of the greatest of all-time.
