Still getting it done after all these years, Ray Allen made what many considered a baffling decision in the summer of 2012 when he left the Boston Celtics to pursue a smaller role and less money in Miami. He saw an opportunity to chase another ring, and a team that needed some elite three-point shooting to protect their superstar LeBron James.

Allen has made more three-pointers than anyone in the history of the NBA, and there’s no near end in sight, as he could add a few hundred more to his portfolio before he hangs it up. His one elite attribute will allow him to stay in the league and make the veteran minimum on title contenders for years to come.
