In last year’s draft, the Boston Celtics opted to choose two big men in the first round–Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo. They both did not play up to their expectations despite Sullinger’s marginal improvements before he was deemed out for the remainder fo the season with back problems. In this year’s draft, Boston may look to do the same.

Mason Plumlee is player that would fit into playing with Rajon Rondo. He likes to run up and down the floor. Plumlee has yet to establish a post-up game, but by playing alongside Rondo, he would most likely be active and cutting to the basket.

Plumlee plays with a lot of energy and will crash the boards on every shot. Averaging 10 rebounds in his final season at Duke, Plumlee’s activity would ease his transition into the NBA.
