2. Klay Thompson makes more three-pointers than Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry’s existence is the only thing that makes this prediction bold. In 2012, Klay Thompson finished third in the league in three-pointers made with 211.  He shoots 40 percent from behind the arc, has the height to shoot over defenders and has the perfect shooting form. But, again, Steph Curry exists.

Teams are shooting three-pointers at a higher rate than ever, and it isn’t unthinkable to see Curry and Klay both make over 250 of them.

The hype surrounding Curry might be the very reason Klay could out-shoot him. Defenses will do their best to keep Curry from shooting the three and Curry knows that Thompson is there waiting to shoot the ball. After all, Curry is a point guard – he isn’t selfish with the ball.  The Warriors are lucky to be able to make other teams pick their poison. If teams continuously pick Curry, Klay could end up making more by the time next season ends.
