5. Nazr Mohammed

Mohammed is the cheapest player on this list, and it’s for that reason that intrigues me–low risk.  He’s coming off of a decent year with Chicago, being merely passable for most of the year.  Despite that, he had surprising flashes with his play, despite his hot head (this is where I’d put a link to the LeBron shove, but has anyone not seen it  by now?  Oh heck, here it is). He made a minuscule $850,000 salary last year, and is more than affordable.

Grabbing Mohammed might be thinking too small for the Warriors, especially since they’re looking for another playoff-bound year.  There’s merit to consideration here, since he has a wealth of experience in the league. Many of those seasons were on playoff teams. He’s exactly the kind of older player who might benefit from revitalization with a young, up-and-coming team that could give him some more minutes after a recent dip in that department.
