The Rich Get Richer

The Western Conference has traditionally been the better of the two conferences and the gap has widened this off-season. Players such as Chandler Parsons, Spencer Hawes, Omer Asik, Isaiah Thomas, and Trevor Ariza have been added to Western Conference contenders from the East or other Western teams. The Mavs and Clippers have added depth and talented to already strong teams. The Spurs were the Spurs and drafted well and re-signed key players. The Warriors found solid reserves for the Splash Brothers. Linsanity has moved to LA to team up with a recovering Kobe. Even teams that missed last year’s playoffs like the Suns and Pelicans are sporting solid rosters and are optimistic about next year’s prospects.

Welcome to the Wild West.
