There are only a small amount of games in NBA history that will live on in your memory forever. These gems cause you to remember exactly where you were when it happened, and how you felt as you watched it. On a seemingly unimportant regular season game between the Warriors and the Sacramento Kings on January 23, history was made.

Klay Thompson broke the record for most points scored in a quarter when he dropped 37 on the Kings in the third quarter. He also broke the record for most threes in a single quarter with nine, and was perfect from field in that quarter (13 attempts).
It was phenomenal to watch. Calling Klay “on fire” would be a disservice to his performance that night, as he simply couldn’t miss any of his shots. The team began to actively search out for him, going out of their way to feed the scalding-hot hand.
It might have just been another regular season game, but in the grand scheme of things, January 23 2015 will forever be recorded in the history books.
