The playoff landscape has been finalized. After a historically great season, the Golden State Warriors need 16 more wins to earn the ultimate prize. Though the Warriors have clinched the top seed and home court throughout playoffs, they have face a challenging road ahead.
With the Western Conference as good as it is, the road to the finals is wide open. As we’ve witnessed in 2007 when the eighth-seeded Warriors upset the first-seeded Mavericks, anything can happen. The Warriors have been statistically dominant for 82 games and have beaten every team in the league at least once this season. However, there are ideal playoff match ups after the first round that the Warriors would like to see.
