  1. The 20-Point Comeback

Down 20-points with one quarter left is a situation that no many teams will want to find themselves in. The Warriors were in that exact position in Game Three, when the Pelicans rode their home-court energy to a blistering start and subsequently obliterated the Warriors in the first three quarters. Many teams would have thrown in the towel by then, and the coaches would be forgiven for giving up and sending in their second unit or emptying their bench to rest their starters.

But that deficit was nothing for the Warriors. Coach Kerr left his starters in and the team never gave up. They clawed their way back, and Curry tied it with this incredible shot – for reference, he shot over the 6’10” Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans, with his eyes closed.

The team’s poor play in the first three quarters is something that needs to be addressed, but the comeback was a thing of beauty. The Warriors could have easily rolled over, let the Pelicans take the game, and blame it all on a hostile home-crowd. Instead, they dug deep and fought hard for the win – something that we might see again in the later stages.
