5 Takeaways from Game One

After last night’s Game One between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets, a few people out there might change their tone on how easy it will be for the Warriors to advance. The Rockets led by 16 points at one stage, and were scoring with relative ease.
Credit to the Warriors, they didn’t give up and reeled in the game with a 21-4 run of their own. Coach Steve Kerr went with a smaller lineup that helped space the floor, and decided to try and outscore the Rockets instead of playing conservatively. It worked as the Warriors ran the Rockets off the court and Stephen Curry reminded everyone why he was voted as MVP with a 34-point performance (6-of-11 from behind the arc).
