Steph Curry has unlimited range. I mean, I seriously don’t think there’s any attempt on a basketball court that he can take that would be considered a “bad shot.”

This play is fantastic for two reasons: the shot was awesome and it ended the Memphis Grizzlies’ season.

With their backs against the wall, the Grizzlies were fighting for their lives. Momentum was starting to shift. The Grizzlies were chipping away at the Warriors’ lead. A Curry charge was followed by a Kosta Koufas bucket which cut the Golden State lead to 5. The Grizz got several defensive stops in a row until Jeff Green got the rebound and raced down the court. Andre Iguodala blocked his 27 foot attempt. The ball bounced to the ground and everyone just watched it waiting for the buzzer to go off.

At least, everyone except the league MVP. He picked it up and launched a 3/4 court shot and instead of a potential one or two possession game, Curry pushed the lead to 8 effectively ending the series 12 minutes before it officially did.

Also, any buzzer beating shot from 3/4 court is fun.
