The league announced the schedule for the upcoming season and the spotlight will be Stephen Curry and co. quite a bit this season. As the defending NBA Champions and most exciting team in the league, the Golden State Warriors will play a league-high 25 games on national TV (5 on ABC, 10 on ESPN, 10 on TNT).
The Warriors will also play a league-high 20 back-to-backs this season which will surely put pressure on Steve Kerr and the staff to manage minutes and keep players fresh. It also looks like the normal grind of the NBA season could be especially hard on a team that played well into the summer with key members fulfilling national team duties as it looks like the Dubs will cover the most distance this season.
The Warriors will begin their title defense on October 27th at home against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. It will also mark the return Alvin Gentry to the Bay Area.
